Cristiano Ronaldo has predicted that the Saudi Arabian Professional League, in which he plays, will become one of the top five leagues in the world in the future.
According to Spanish outlet El Mundo Deportivo, Ronaldo said he is very happy with the level of the Saudi league and believes it has the potential to grow to a bigger stage. “The league is improving, and next year it will be even better,” Ronaldo said. It has to go through stages, but I think it will be one of the top five leagues in the world in the future.”스포츠토토
For starters, the recruitment ‘buzz’ coming out of Saudi Arabia is definitely not big league. Following Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia, veteran superstars of an era such as Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Lionel Messi have been linked to the kingdom. High-profile coaches such as former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and former Brazil national football team coach Tite are also attracting interest from Saudi clubs. Despite the fact that many of the players are past their prime, no other league on the fringes has seen as much interest as Saudi Arabia in recent times.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has taken his game to the next level since joining Al Nasr, scoring 14 goals and providing two assists in 15 appearances.
