Im Seong-jae and Mitchell, PGA Tour Zurich Classic 3R 1 stroke 2nd place

Lim Seong-jae and Keith Mitchell (USA) kept their second place in the third round of the PGA Tour Zurich Classic (total prize money: $8.6 million).

Im Seong-jae and Mitchell Joe jointly scored 10 under par 62 with 10 birdies in the 3rd round of the tournament held at TPC Louisiana (par 72, 7,425 yards) in Avondale, Louisiana, USA on the 23rd (Korean time).

Im Seong-jae and Mitchell, who recorded a total of 25 under par 191 strokes over the three days, entered the final round on the 24th as sole second place, one stroke behind the leader.

The Wyndham Clark-Bo Horsler (USA) group, which recorded 26 under par and 190 strokes, maintained the lead throughout the three days, and the Lim Seong-jae-Mitchell group tied for second place the previous day and became sole second place in the third round.

In this tournament, which is played in a pair of two players, the first and third rounds are held in a way that two players play with their own balls and the better performance is used as a team score, and the second and fourth rounds are a foursome method in which one ball is alternately hit.

Im Seong-jae was responsible for 7 out of 10 team birdies that day.

Im Seong-jae, who made a 5m birdie putt from the first hole, made 3 birdies in the first 3 holes, including a 7m birdie in the 3rd hole (par 3).

In both holes 1 and 3, Mitchell’s ball was closer to the hole, but Lim Seong-jae, who attempted a birdie putt first, caught the birdie and reduced the number of strokes. 안전놀이터

Last year’s winning team, Patrick Cantlay-Zander Chopley (above USA), tied for 10th with 20 under par 196 strokes.

If they win the tournament, the winning prize money of 2,485,400 dollars (approximately 3.31 billion won) will be shared between the two players, and they will receive 400 FedEx Cup points each.

In addition, the winner receives two years of PGA Tour qualification, the Players Championship, PGA Championship, and Sentry Champions Tournament qualification, the same as any other PGA Tour winner, but does not give world ranking points or the next year’s Masters berth.
